Weather Safety Policy

At Bounce House Ninjas, safety is our highest priority. We continuously monitor weather conditions before and during every rental to help ensure the safety of all participants.

Georgia safety regulations prohibit the operation of amusement rides during unsafe weather conditions. Specifically, rides must not be operated during lightning storms, tornado alerts or warnings, or when exposed to wind speeds or wind gusts that exceed the manufacturer's recommended limits.

To protect our customers, Bounce House Ninjas follows these safety requirements and may suspend or cancel a rental whenever weather conditions become unsafe.

Wind Safety

Although some manufacturers specify different maximum wind limits, Bounce House Ninjas uses a maximum operating limit of 15 mph sustained winds or 15 mph wind gusts for all inflatables as an added safety precaution.

If winds reach or exceed these limits:

  • All riders must exit the inflatable immediately.

  • The blower will be turned off and the inflatable may be deflated.

  • The inflatable will remain closed until weather conditions return to safe levels.

  • Customers must never continue using an inflatable after it has been shut down for weather.

Thunderstorms & Lightning

Georgia regulations require amusement rides to be shut down during lightning storms.

If lightning is seen or thunder is heard:

  • Everyone must immediately exit the inflatable.

  • The inflatable will be shut down and secured.

  • Use will not resume until conditions are safe.

  • As an additional safety measure, we recommend waiting at least 30 minutes after the last clap of thunder or lightning strike before resuming use.

Heavy Rain

Inflatables should never be used during heavy rain because:

  • Surfaces become slippery.

  • Strong winds often accompany storms.

  • Electrical blowers and extension cords must remain dry.

If heavy rain develops, the inflatable will be shut down until conditions improve.

Tornado Watches & Warnings

If a tornado watch or warning is issued for your area:

  • All participants must immediately exit the inflatable.

  • The inflatable will be deflated and secured.

  • Operation will not resume until the severe weather threat has ended.

Extreme Heat

Georgia summers can produce dangerously high temperatures.

To help prevent heat-related illness:

  • Drink plenty of water.

  • Take frequent breaks.

  • Wear lightweight clothing.

  • Adult supervision is required at all times.

  • Do not use the inflatable if participants show signs of overheating or heat exhaustion.

Customer Responsibilities

During your rental, you agree to:

  • Monitor changing weather conditions.

  • Follow all weather-related instructions provided by Bounce House Ninjas.

  • Remove all participants immediately when instructed.

  • Never reconnect the blower or re-inflate the equipment after it has been shut down for safety.

  • Contact Bounce House Ninjas if weather conditions become questionable during your rental.

Our Safety Commitment

For the safety of our customers, employees, and equipment, Bounce House Ninjas reserves the right to:

  • Delay setup due to unsafe weather.

  • Cancel or postpone delivery if severe weather is expected.

  • Suspend or end a rental if weather conditions become hazardous.

  • Make all final decisions regarding safe inflatable operation.

Safety always comes before the event. If weather conditions become unsafe, our staff will act immediately to protect everyone involved.

This version is legally safer because it accurately states what Georgia regulations require (follow the manufacturer's wind limits and shut down during lightning/tornado conditions) while making it clear that Bounce House Ninjas has its own stricter 15 mph operating policy. That distinction helps avoid suggesting Georgia law itself sets a universal 15 mph limit.
